Verse of the Day (Page 56)

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust:Cause met to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make away in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

He that followeth after righteousness and mercy Findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
