Verse of the Day (Page 51)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecution, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of a his friend.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou has covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
