But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

15  Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

¹  O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou has done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

³   But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

1  I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works. 2  I will be glad and rejoice in thee:  I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

20  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen.

20  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21  Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

13     Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God:  for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14     But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

¹¹ Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:  for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
