Verse of the Day (Page 242)

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

¹  Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me:  and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in:  behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

¹³  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God, and keep his commandments:  for this is the whole duty of man.

¹¹  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Enter into his gates with Thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:  be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

15  Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

¹  O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou has done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

³   But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

1  I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works. 2  I will be glad and rejoice in thee:  I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
