²³ Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

²º But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying i the Holy Ghost,    ²¹ Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

¹¹ Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:    Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you. For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil.

³ Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind each esteem other better than themselves.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:  he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.    And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.  Believest thou this?

And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth:  for the Lord hath spoken it.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

²³ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
