Verse of the Day (Page 229)

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:

¹ I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, ² With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love; ³ Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:  for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

If a man say, I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar:  For he that loveth his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

And when e had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto the, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

¹³ And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye search for me with all your heart.

¹º Love worketh no ill to his neighbor:  therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

²¹ For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.
