Verse of the Day (Page 228)

Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tired: He is a buckler to all the those that trust in Him.

My flesh and my Heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.  

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

O Taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.  

Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
