“But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:  my God; in Him will I trust.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.  

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:  he leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul:  he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid:  for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
