Verse of the Day (Page 182)

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:  That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God”  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged:  condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:  forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

For with he heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

What?  Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price:  therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded toward one another according to Christ Jesus:  That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
