And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

We love him, because he first loved us.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: And he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy in him.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
