She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; Yea she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: When shall I come and appear before God?

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God for he will abundantly pardon.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The fear of man bringeth a snare: But whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
