Honor thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

A father of the fatherless and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto uttermost part of the earth.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
