Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that humble himself shall be exalted.

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, biu, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
