Like as a father pitieth his children, So the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affectations and lusts.

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; For his mercy endureth for ever.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction of righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
