I the Lord search then heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts ye double minded.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
