I surrendered to the call to preach in 1980. I was licensed by First Baptist Church in Lenoir City on April 19, 1981 and was Ordained into the Ministry on January 31, 1982 at First Baptist in Lenoir City, TN. I graduated from John A. Gupton College in Nashville in 1968 and attended Carson Newman Bible College in Jefferson City for three years. God has allowed me to serve as a Short-Term Missionary in Brazil, Africa, Russia and Canada.
I have served as a pastor at:
- New Midway Baptist Church in Kingston, TN.
- First Baptist Church in Riceville, TN.
- McPheeters Bend Baptist Church in Church Hill, TN.
- Paint Rock Baptist Church, Paint Rock, TN.
- Central Baptist Church in Loudon, TN.
I came to Highland Park in December of 2004 and began serving as pastor in January of 2005.
I have been married to Bobbye Carol Lee since 1968 and we have three children: Missy Mason, Chris Click and Betsy Junot. We have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. God has blessed Bobbye and me in so many ways and we thank Him for our family and our church family.
